First Impression: Maybelline Color Blur Cream Matte Pencil

Hey Guys,

When it comes to lipsticks, I am the type of girl who gravitates towards anything in the nude / mauve / pink / coral-ey shades. I do love a good ol’ colour combination because as we all know finding the perfect lip colour can be very difficult.

With that being said, on special occasions or when I want my lip to be the focal point on my face there is nothing more I love than bright pink and berry colours. Lucky for me the Maybelline Color Blur Cream Matte Lip Pencils cater to these shades perfectly. With 10 beautiful shades available, I managed to get my hands on my 5 favourite.

I absolutely love these pencils…. Why?

  • They are highly pigmented
  • The packaging is simple, easy to use & light in weight (Perfect when travelling)
  • They are super affordable
  • Long longevity (Up to 5 hours before it needs reapplying)
  • The formula is amazing & does not leave your lips feeling dry
  • The shades available will suit and cater to a variety of skin tones (Perfect if you are a MUA)

    1. Hey Jessie,

Yes, the Maybelline lip products are very creamy and moisturising!

For dry lips a really helpful tip is to use natural oils such as Coconut Oil, Almond Oil or Olive Oil to nourish and moisturise your lips. The best way I can advise is to apply any of these oils on your lip and leave overnight! Hope this helps you! 🙂
