I am so excited for my first product review of 2017, without a doubt I want to share my thoughts on one of my Christmas Presents… The Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette.
If you have been following my blog, you will know that I absolutely adore the Urban Decay brand. The quality, pigment and ease of application from their product range are key factors which have retained my loyalty.
Having researched, the palette retails for £43 and can be purchased from the Urban Decay website and Debenhams. The packaging is beautifully presented – a simple, clean, black lined backdrop featuring a rainbow jewelled UD emblem, giving a clue as to what is inside.
*Gasps*…This palette is stunning! I am ecstatic, captivated by the array of rainbow colours at first sight. This limited edition palette contains 21 iconic shades from bold brights to matte white, perfect to create any look.
Furthermore you will find a generously sized mirror and a dual-sided makeup brush. I am always so thankful that the palettes include a brush because the quality of these are amazing and I always use Urban Decay brushes when applying eyeshadow.
When swatching each eyeshadow I found that all but 2 shades are tremendously pigmented and vibrant after one swatch. Midnight Blaze & Metamorphosis needed a few more swatches to appear on my arm. Other than that, there is nothing I can fault.
Overall, I absolutely love this palette. Why?
- I feel that this product is extremely value for money
- The palette contains 21 beautiful shades and costs £43, this works out approximately £2.05 for each eyeshadow 1.2g.
- The colour range is fantastic
- The shadows are extremely pigmented and easy to work with
Have you tried this palette, what are your thoughts?
I hope you all enjoyed my first post of 2017.
